Hi,

fist of all thanks a lot for the work. I've got one question/issue:

I tried to follow the steps to use SSL with the installation. I'm running a QNAP with a letsencrypt certificate installed via the QTS Gui. It work fine with the qnap apps.
After changing the 3 lines in the config file as described i get the following messages depending on browser/app when trying to access nextcloud with an external link. (example from local but same error with external adress)

phone.png

Without https it works but is obviously not safe:

Is 45080 even the right port for https?

Thanks a lot
Dennis

Is there actually a guide now for setting up NextCloud on QNAP's now, I'll pay the Euro and install it if there is. I installed the qother one Stephane has a link to, it uses the QNAP's SSL Cert. and doesn't depend on QApache. But there's no access the Admin page, which is unfortunate.

Yeah, anyway, if there's a guide that would be fantastic.

Hi Stephane
The new version of Nextcloud doesn't seem to start up after reboot. I will need to manually run

Code: Select all

/opt/Nextcloud/Nextcloud.sh start
after reboot. All other services runs fine though.

I found out why. Nextcloud started before Qapache, does anyone knows how to modify the order in which is gets started on boot?

"Sort my qpkg's" from the qnap club repository worked well for me, it solved a lot of similar issues for me. And it does it all automatically. Easy.

Hi

I have the universal version of Nextcloud 13.0.2 on my 269L which has been great. I have been able to do the updates but now trying to update to the latest or last 13.x.x.x I get the following error:

Check for expected files
The following extra files have been found:
: nextcloud

I have been able in the past to update the unversal NC13 since it came out but when I got to 0.0.2 I can't

Can anyone advise me

Thanx

Del

PS: I know that I can't run NC14 as the QNAP NAS does not support PHP7 but I'd like to update my current NC 13 to 13.0.6

I would love to know 1. How to install Nextcloud on my TS-253Be 2. Attach a Let's Encrypt SSL cerificate 3. How to make NC accessible from the WAN 4. How to assign a Domain name I purchase to my DDNS ... I'm completely inexperienced with this. Has anyone created a "How To" for QNAP NAS'?
