Hi
im encountering numerous issues with the Multimedia Management Settings Window
- cannot migrate to a different volume. Error thrown;
[Media Library] migratedb failed: ModifyXmlMetadataPath failed.
Current volume and intended volume are both Thin provisioned, if this matters
App is currently installed on a Thin Volume
- cannot add new folders to the library. these folders disappear when clicking apply
- media streaming app failed to install - but eventually got it installed with persistence
i should mention that it was working properly until i cleared all volumes (but left the storage pool intact) due to a separate problem

Re: Help: MultiMedia Management Issue
Hi,
I am also having problems when trying to migrate the media library to a different volume:
Error: [Media Library] migratedb failed: ModifyXmlMetadataPath failed
I would be very happy for some advice.

Re: Help: MultiMedia Management Issue
This solved it for me:
- Uninstall Photo, Music, Video station
- Then reinstall
- Disable Multimediafunction in Control Panel -> General Settings
- Apply (wait...)
- Enable Multimediafunction again
- Apply (wait...)

Just disabling and re-enabling solved the problem

Re: Help: MultiMedia Management Issue
Somehow I have now managed to migrate to a different volume. I think the problem was that I had not added any media folders. But after adding a folder the migration worked. I choose the default shared folder named Multimedia. However, the folder is still on the old volume. Should it not have been moved to the new volume? That was what I was trying to do in the first place.
So, how do I move the default Multimedia folder to a different volume?

Re: Help: MultiMedia Management Issue
Seems like it is not possible to move default shared folders to different volumes, at least not in a fairly straightforward way:
Move Shared Folders To Different Volume
