Remove Notification center?

Post by abighairyspider »

Any way to remove the notification center if I don't plan to use it? At the very least can I remove the nag box from the bottom of my events dropdown?

Please give us an option to turn OFF notification center!

At least hide if we opt out.

The same goes for the SSD profiling tool. I don’t have SSD’s. I want to uninstall it.

Anyone able to disable the nag? I have no use for Notification Center, and the nag is obtrusive and obnoxious.

SSD profiling: You can't, it's part of the OS after 4.3.4.0734. I was told (after months of back and forth) by the QNAP help desk that the only way to remove it was to revert to this previous OS build (which I ended up doing, because the "user agreement" states that information from your system will be sent to <somewhere/China?> and you can't stop it unless you uninstall the app...which you can't do). Look for other threads on removing SSD profiling tool for more info.
