qnap status light flashing green and red. Too much time for Booting

Hi,

From today Morning, My Qnap Is Not working, first time it was showing HDD1 Error, Then i restart my Qnap again. after that was taking long time for startup.

After updating my system Recent updates NASF 17742 4.3.5(20181114), qnap status light flashing green and red and showing booting for long time.

not much info given

so hdd1 had an error...is that a single drive? raid member? why did you restart the system?

HI,

Sorry for sort information given by me.

Actually from Last Monday morning, Qnap is Not functioning abnormally , there are 4 hdd in NAS Drive, one of them showing error red messages. after that i restart QNAP.
2 times it was again showing red light in HDD one,i power off by pressing power button for (1.5 s). And remove power code from Drive, Remove HDD one, just clean contact point of hdd, and reinsert it again, After i that start it again.

2 Times Status light showing RED And Green, i wait for three,four hours, status light is green, HDD 1 is showing green status,
But now QNAP is working very slow.

Please give your suggestion. should i go for resting device.

What make and model HDDs are installed?

edit: In one of the screenshots you’ve just added, you have a SMART warning. Exactly what warning is shown?

As mentioned, your screenshot shows a 4TB drive.

As you haven’t said what the SMART error is with that drive, I’m guessing the very high abnormal sector count will be an issue. You should replace that drive.

How are your drives configured? RAID? Single drives?
