Hello, I currently have a TS-251+ on which I have Plex installed. I noticed that the TS-328 is currently on sale at Woot.com. I checked and Plex has been updated to be able to be used on the TS-328. Would the TS-328 be a performance upgrade to the TS-251+? The TS-328 isn't on this list:

I do have the Plex Pass which has helped the performance of the TS-251+.

besides one drive bay more..the cpu power would be a downgrade (arm vs x86/x64 .. no vm support and limited containers)

... and you lose the hardware transcoding, so Plex will be slower. Better to use Intel CPUs.

that realtek chip does have a transcoding engine even for x265 .. but unclear if plex can make use of it (I think they only support intel qsv)
