Hi
I have a QNAP with HDMi, where all my movies are stored. The QNAP is connected to the TV and controlled with PLEX on my Apple TV.
My question is how do I configure Plex, on Apple TV, to stream my movies true HDMI from my QNAP to my TV ?
Thanks
Oliver

Thanks for your information.
I’ve not much experience and knowledge about Plex player/server with direct play true HDMI.

I know this is old, but from what I've read, you need to install both Plex server and client. To play via HDMI, it needs to output only video and audio directly from the qnap, so it's acting as a client player in that capacity. It just happens to also house the content as a server...
