QVR Pro Optimization

Post by tbcnj »

I've been running my TS-453 with QVR Pro for several months now with good results (24 cameras continuously recording). I have noticed, however, that the performance monitor shows some drastic swings in the CPU/RAM performance. I typically have just one or two clients connected at any given time, and the NAS is not used for anything else. I'm wondering if there are "default" apps/services running on the NAS that I could safely remove in order to optimize it for QVR Pro. I've not found any help on the QNAP site itself. Anyone know of any such "QVR Pro Optimization" document that I could use?

Thanks in advance,
Brian

Using VBR video recording mode should ease load. Is your frame rate too high?

What's the point of helping if the original poster does not reply.
