ST4000 Ironwolf not supporting Health Management???

Post by EdmundF » Tue Mar 26, 2019 7:51 am

My brand new TS673 repports : This Seagate Drive does not support IrionWolf Health management.

Can anyone tell me what is wrong here? According the Seagate website the drive DOES support IronWolf Health management.

does this help?
https://www.qnap.com/en/how-to/knowledg ... anagement/

I'd love to know how Seagate's Rescue service is going to recover data from Qnap's LVM when no one else can!

Any Cat1 model user would used this service and they recovered their data might like to come in here...

no idea

that page here also mentions "available on select" qnap models

never mentions those models (all cat2 upgradable to 4.3.5?)
