Hi everyone,
I am trying to syncronise two QNAP's with each other as we are opening another office 500km away.
I am trying to use Hybrid Backup Sync app, and have been trying both Rsync and RTRR, but i cannot get a connection, it just fails both ways.
NAS1:
QNAP TS-563
Firmware: 4.3.6.0959
Has an IPv4 public IP
need to sync 800GB+ data to NAS2 and then sync in real time.
ports forwarded in modem to NAS1: 873 and 8899
Triple checked passwords
Apart from Failed when trying to connect, no errors
NAS2:
QNAP TS-453Be
Firmware: 4.3.6.0959
Has an IPv6 public IP
Need to get all data from NAS1 and then from there sync in real time.

Apart from Failed when trying to connect, no errors
Can anyone please suggest any fixes and if more information is needed, let me know what you need.

Firmware/app versions? Error messages?
Use the forum search feature before posting.
Use RAID and external backups. RAID will protect you from disk failure, keep your system running, and data accessible while the disk is replaced, and the RAID rebuilt. Backups will allow you to recover data that is lost or corrupted, or from system failure. One does not replace the other.

I just updated OP with model and firmware versions, no error messages apart from "Failed" when trying to connect.

Xigorim were you able to resolve this issue? I would like to do the same thing and would appreciate any advice you could provide.
I have a TS-431 currently configured with 2 drives (Raid) I run a local backup which stores a repository to my 431 nightly. I would like to add a second NAS at my home and configure it to replicate the files stored on the 431.
