I use the QNAP in my intranet and I'd like anyway to connect via HTTPS and not HTTP, but I face always the same problem: the certificate is issued to <MYNAME>.myqnapcloud.com and the name of the QNAP is <MYNAME>.local
I'd like to have a certificate with the true name of the QNAP. Is this possible?

Re: https: certificate mismatch
you will only get a https cert for a valid fqdn
although I remember a discussion that some certificate issuers also allow non conforming alt names..will see if I can find it
