QVR recording space on another NAS

Hi. I have QVR pro setup on my new NAS but I want to save the two 2TB RAID 1 disks from getting hammered by frequent recordings + space is limited when recording 3 cameras. I have an old Qnap NAS and would like it to be the recording space using older discs. Is this possible? I have both NAS on the network.
