fixing unmounted raid 1
newbie here using ts-253be with qvr pro to only store recordings from 4 cameras. I have 2 hdd in raid 1.
as of this AM. I can login to NAS but not qvr pro
getting msgs as follows
error msg- Pool 1 thin pool metadata could not be activated successfully
and
warning msg- default network shared folders public, web, etc are inaccessible
looking at system file info I see
datavol 1 status is unmounted
the only data on the system is all the stored cameras video for couple days, really don't need it.
can someone help me recover system the easiest way even if I lose the stored videos ?
thanks much

Re: fixing unmounted raid 1
Thin volumes should not be used for CCTV, there are too many changes that need reclaiming.
More info needed, screenshots, what could have caused it?
For recovery do you see this?
http://docs.qnap.com/nas/QTS4.3.4/en/GU ... B0263.html

Re: fixing unmounted raid 1
check file bombs right off
error,, failed to check file system datavol1
maybe tomorrow I can get a human on the phone at qnap, unfortunately they can not log in to my system remotely as I use a hotspot for internet

Md_checker looks ok
Launch this, it restarts LVM
"/etc/init.d/init_lvm.sh"

Never run /etc/init.d/init_lvm.sh command without the advice of a real expert who knows what he/she is doing.
For QNAP stuff, better contact QNAP support.
