Set IP Adress during boot up

Post by oesi »

Hi

Sorry about my bad english - not my mother language

I use a qnap storage for mobile video production.

This qnap has a default IP Network Setting - but sometimes on loaction the IP Adresses must be changed to work in the infrastucture on location. Most of the time the operators reset the IP Adress Setting to default after use but sometimes not.

This is a little problem when the Qnap goes to the next location.

Now my question:

Is there a way how I can write a skript or a config file that set the Network IP Adresses on all Network interfaces to a configured default setting.

E.g.:
eth0 static IP 192.168.1.1 subnet 255.255.255.0 mtu 9000
eth1 DHCP mtu 9000
eth2 static IP 192.168.1.2 subnet 255.255.255.0 mtu 9000
eth3 DHCP mtu 9000

Thank you for your help
Gerhard
