Terribly slow transfer rate

Post by hinky »

Using a Qnap TS-212P and trying to transfer from my Windows 7 machine to the NAS results in transfers of 120K/s - that's kb. Nothing else is running. No apps are installed. I'm on a Gigabit internal network and switch and dragging files from Explorer into the Filestation folder in my browser. Can't explain why this NAS is so painfully slow.

Mine TS-212 also too slow. Updating an app and installing it, I am waiting for 35 minutes now. Also cannot send files more than a PC at a time. Already changed HDD 3 months ago after hard reset and new installation with the new hdd but even during installation slow performance was detected. Also if tried to upgrade any app, more than one the time - forget updated all function - I will receive connection lost or similar error.
