Running a VM in a certain time frame?

Post by tzn001 »

Hi,

I would like to run a Windows VM in the VIrtualization Station, but I want it to be running only between 8am to 10pm. Obviously I can shutdown the Windows from inside the VM automatically but not sure how to boot it up automatically?

Do you have any idea on this?

Thanks,
TZ

There might be some ways to achieve this using virsh commands & crontab. Definitely wouldn’t be anything pretty in a GUI.
