Can you map users home drive automatically when they log on? Do you have to belong to a windows domain in order to do this?

there is an option when mounting a share (default ticked) to reconnect network shares on sign on, so unless you untick it, that should be done

It's not so much remembering the drive but for when a different person logs on to a computer, it would be useful to have their respective home drive on the NAS mapped on their computer. As different people could use a particular PC, it saves a small amount of time the very first time someone logs on to come and map their home drive.

\\NAS\home is user specific, so when you mount the drives per user, the credentials used will give the users home folder
