Considering a TS-H1277XU to replace an aging QNAP NAS. Before pulling the trigger, there's a few questions that I haven't seen answers for.
1. Is the TS-H1277XU generally available now? If so, where can it be purchased from?
A review of all the options listed on the QNAP site only turned up a few sites that list the model. Does anyone actually have it in stock?
2. Can you use M.2 drives to set up the system drive?
On the QNAP site, there's a graphic that shows using two of the drive bays for a storage pool that contains the system drive, using two SSDs. Can you use a two M.2 drives installed in an expansion card instead? Trying to figure out those two drive bays can be saved for the storage array.
3. Does the TS-H1277XU and/or QNAP Hero OS support graphics cards?
If installed into a PCIe slot, can the OS access the graphics card. If so, in what context? Can it be accessed by VMs, dockers, etc? What about installed packages?
Thanks in advance for any insight.

Re: TS-h1277XU Hero Availability & Questions
Put in a request and the QNAP team replied very quickly (thanks!).
Here's the answers (summarized):
1. Is the TS-H1277XU generally available now? If so, where can it be purchased from?
TS-H1277XU is not available yet, availability will depend on two factors: QTS Hero availability (also not available yet), and production availability.
2. Can you use M.2 drives to set up the system drive?
Potentially, but its not certain. Once QTS Hero is released we'll know for sure.
3. Does the TS-H1277XU and/or QNAP Hero OS support graphics cards?
Unsure, again depends on QTS Hero release.
