no connection remotely once new firmware becomes available

hi all
I have four Qnap Nas' but on one of them, every time a new firmware window pop-ups I can't access remotely to update or access anything.
All my other qnap's all fine.
I'm sure this is something small, but I can't find it...

you mean your qnap hangs when you do a live update ?

did you read the release notes warning about live updates from certain previous firmwares ?

so basically because we are all working remotely I have to run the firmware updates remotely. Here is the problem. When a new firmware is released. i.e. a message normally pops up on the Nas, when this firmware becomes available to update I can not access the NAS remotely to update the firmware... it is somehow stopping the remote access... all other Nas are OK. I have to send someone into work to update on site. Once the firmware is updated I have access again...

that popup is what the name says only a popup..it does not download or block anything without interaction

no idea how this would lead to a non functioning nas
