thx for the link. ill check that out. still i wonder why my container station does not work. i would just like it to work properly. any suggestions in how i could get a solution for that somewhere here or else?

I have the same problem, I have 2 NAS systems, one TS-431P2 and one TS-253A

I moved 2 disks from the 253 to the 431, added a new disk and then I added a new disk to the 253 and did a factory reset and wiped the disk.

If I create a new container on the wiped 253 there are shared folders that I can select (Container, Public, share).

On the 431 system, the shared folder option is empty as OP reported.

I don't see any differences in permissions and I logged in as admin and an admin-group user on both systems

Newly created shares does not show up either.

I'm guessing the move of existing disks did something to mess this up, but I cannot figure out how to fix it.

using reverse proxy, ssl cert along with the emby container, might be a good idea, if you want to do remote access
