Ok, sorry about my language, but I got this message from no-reply@myqnapcloud.com announcing this favourite-selectin by some called RAN.
When logging into the myQNAPcloud I was presented with this message I took the screenshot from.
Apologies for not knowing about this feature, so I thought about seeking some support here.

Sorry, I don't know. It does seem a little odd, like QNAP are listing myQNAPcloud device-names in some publicly accessible table.
Suggest you contact QNAP and ask them about this by creating a support ticket.
