Re: Media Streaming add-on 441.1.3.0 bug
hello I opened a ticket and the QNAP replies & actions were quick : issue confirmed on their side and yesterday QNAP released a new version of Streaming Add On. For me the issue is gone.

Re: Media Streaming add-on 441.1.3.0 bug
I found a workaround for the DLNA issue. The problem is that the Multimedia Console 1.1.3 does not refresh indexing when changes are done on the NAS for DLNA sources.
1. Open the Control Panel.
2. In the Applications section on the bottom, launch the DLNA Media Server.
3. Click on the Scan Now button.
This will force the DLNA Media Server to do a scan for any indexing updates and takes only a few minutes. This way you do not have to do a complete re-index of all the files on the server which can takes hours.

Re: Media Streaming add-on 441.1.3.0 bug
tried it now but still the same issue for me, too.
The Media Streaming add-on 441.1.3.1 didn't fix the problem. Also the workaround didn't help.
Changing the setting of "Default menu style" remains always on "all category". It doesn't matter when I change this and apply it. No error occurs when applying but reopening the configuration page the old setting is back. Also the port number is missing...
I have to stay with the TwonkyServer...

Tried an older version 441.1.1.4 and this works fine. Updating to the currently latest 441.1.3.1 problem back...

Re: Media Streaming add-on 441.1.3.0 bug
QNAP support was able to revert the Multimedia Console back to 1.1.2 for me. Everything appears to be now fixed. My directories are now sorting in the correct order and the DLNA seems to be indexing automatically when new files are saved to the NAS. After reverting to 1.1.2, the console started to re-index my whole NAS, all 88,000+ files. I will have to wait and confirm if everything is fixed after the indexing is completed.
Lesson learned, do not upgrade the firmware on the NAS if it is working fine...

I reported the same. After a firmware update albums are no longer listed when browsing artists, all tracks from all the artists albums are listed alphabetically. When searching for albums by the artist I do get a list of albums, but the tracks are sorted alphabetically.
All in all, after the firmware update the dnla function is pretty much useless for music at least. I reported this a bug, and documented the current and expected behaviour. Support responded quickly and soon said they reproduced the bug. Then nothing happened until they suddenly said that it was not a bug but an enhancement. Then the ticket was closed.
