I'm a brand new QNAP user. Just installed a TS-251D with a Seagate IronWolf 10TB NAS Internal Hard Drive HDD.
I am intrigued with the possibilities of my own "Dropbox" system rather than relying on third party systems.
I have a lot of legacy data out on SugarSync. The prospect of downloading it all and moving it to my QNAP solution is daunting. It will take a ton of time.
Before I do that, I was wondering if there are any other solutions for bringing large data pools from SugarSync to Qsync.
Thanks for your comments.

beware of that dropbox solution ... if you are planning to expose your NAS to the web to access it... read up on all the hacked NAS of users that did the same

OK, then. Thank you for this. Perhaps not the right time to explore this.
Dovetails with another question I posted earlier today about learning more about best practices for securing my NAS from outsiders.

I think that makes sense. Implementing a secure way of accessing your Device remotely whilst minimising risk is possible and implemented by many.
