I am trying to repair my TS-453A after reading some threads here and doing tests.
However I never had "unplugged device" but checking the logs, I got ramdom errors on sata2 port like these but I did not find the reason.
Sometimes I got on QTS the warning message that volume had to be reconstructed or rechecked, but never the HDD on sata2 was unplugged.
I have tested with the original 4Gb ADATA memory modules (2Gb + 2Gb) (normaly I work with 16 Gb), tested with another power supply, tested different disks... but all of them do not impact. I cleaned very well all the sata connectos and rest of components using an specific liquid for cleaning electronics, but it did not affected. Also removed dust inside the sata connectors and checked all the pins are well.
That is an example shwon on the logs:

I replaced a pair of MOSFET located in the right bottom corner "E6P02" (NTMD6P02R2) and both transistors "702"(NDS7002A) but error logs persist, in spite I did a full hard reset deleting all QTS operating system.
Maybe during the soldering I could have damaged the mosfet due a high temperature (380 ºC), so I am cosidering to replace them again and check again.
What I would know if how can I check with a multimeter that they are OK. Can they be checked with the NAS powered off? Do I need to switch on the NAS? Do I need to insert the HDD into the sata2 port and check with a multimeter? I read something about checking with a multimeter but I am not sure the procedure, exactly if I need to check the continuity between the pins of the MOFSFET and the pins of the SATA connector, and if I need to have the HDD inserted and the NAS powered on.
Anyone could provide some help about this, to discover where is the problem? Maybe I would need to replace another component like resistor or capacitor.
Also I have some doubts about other alternatives to solve this. ¿Would work the TS-453 Pro backplane in this TS-453A? Pro model is similar but has white pins connectors... that A model does not have. Other alternative could be The TS-453Be backplane but I realized that the form and position of the SATA connectors is different. Somebody has tested other backplanes in theirs models? The bus connector is PCI, so I think it could work.
Thanks in advance!
