Hi.
I plugged in an external drive into my Qnap TS231P. In file station,I can see all the files and folders just fine.
However, when I try to find those same folders in my finder window , it shows about half of the folders. Tried it on a different Mac and it did the same thing. Is there some setting that I'm missing?
Any help on this would be most appreciated.

Re: Files Missing from Finder in iMac
I'm just using "admin" and my password.
As an aside, I can see all of the files on the internal drives of the NAS. This issue is just with one of the External USB drives.
Thanks!

Have you tried a different protocol ? AFP,SMB,etc
maybe a good idea to open a ticket with qnap

No, I haven't but I'll give that a shot. Thanks for your help.

Experienced a similar issue: Downgrading to an earlier version (in my case on a TS-X31XU FW 4.4.3.1439 build 20200925) is the only working workaround I found so far.

Re: Files Missing from Finder in iMac
In the Finder Sidebar, click on Network then doubleclick on QNAP. On the upper right of Finder below the Search there should be a "Connect as". Click on that then enter the username and password that you had registered for the user on the QNAP.
