I registered just to say I'm affected by the same issue and Download Station is no longer working for me in its current state. How can we revert to an older version of the app which was working fine?

Same on QNAP TS-831X (4.5.1.1540 Build 20210107) with Download Station (V5.7.0.173). Worked flawlessly before the app update...
Reinstalling, changing settings and also resetting the app settings didn't work.
