Hello,
I just downloaded the QVR Pro Client app for iOS on iPad. When trying to connect to the NAS a message is displayed stating that something (the name is not shown!) is "not installed". You can allow the installation or abort the connection process.
If you allow it, you can see that the NAS installs QVR Elite from QNAP App Center. I cannot connect to the working Surveillance Station with the iOS client. With the Elite installed but not setup the iOS QVR Pro just doesn't establish a connection. So am I forced to use Elite now?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers, indyone_de

Re: QVR Pro forcing Elite app usage?
Not sure if I'm following your question correctly, but are you attempting to use QVR Pro client with Surveillance Station? If so, I believe Surveillance Station uses a different client app (Vmobile?). Whereas the QVR Pro client is used for QVR Pro or QVR Elite. I do not use Surveillance Station but using the QVR Pro client works fine against the QVR Pro server application and there is no forced prompt to switch to Elite.
