QSync clients disconnecting

Post by zmaj! »

After updating Qsync to 4.3.0.4, clients (all on Win10) cant connect to server. Tried with different versions of clients (4.5, 5.0 and 5.1) - same issue.

Removed NAS from client, readded it with success but still it cant connect & sync.

Running Qsync on TS251. Tried rebooting clients, qsync service and qnap - still the same.

Any hints?

I'm having the same issue on my TS-251+. Running version 4.5.2 1594. QSync on Win 10 at first connects then immediately disconnects. When I try a connection test it fails yet it does see the folders on the NAS!!

Same problem here since the update to QTS 4.3.4.1632 build 20210324

Incorrect username or password while trying to connect to Qsync

I've tried with disabling and re-enabling Qsync Central, and also with rebooting my QNAP NAS, both without success.

Can we expect a fix for this soon QNAP?

Same issue here with a TS-269Pro after upgrade to firmware 4.3.4.1632 Build 20210324 and Qsync Central 3.0.3.01
Client on Win 10 connects no problem to my TS-219P II running Qsync Central 3.0.2.01
Did all the other checks - stop, start, reinstall Qsync, created a new user, changed password etc.
Raised a support ticket on the issue

I've been having connection issues with Qsync on my MacBook running macOS Big Sur since the beginning.
We have a TS-832XU in use. I installed QSync on my MacBook and connected the QNAP via QID (with email address + password).

But now it happens that every day the QNAP loses the connection to the NAS(?) and the Qsync client then says "Connect...". Even if the client runs for a few minutes, nothing happens. Workaround for me currently: Edit connection, select mode "QID" and then enter username + password again and then the connection is there again.

i got macOS Big Sur with the latest QSync-Client.

But the problem has always existed, not just with the latest firmware version. Can someone help me there?

Disable and re-enable Qsync didn't work for me, but remove and reinstall did!
