Why has Annke never made it into the list.

Post by stevedh »

There are plenty of Annke cameras around, just wondering why they have never been directly supported by QVR Pro.
I have a couple, in order to try to get all the features supported I have to try selecting various HikVision camera.

So just wondering why Annke hasn't made the grade, there are plenty of pretty obscure cameras supported.

I agree. It is troubling that Annke, which makes high value cameras, having broad appeal and adoption, have not made it onto this list. Nor has there been any indication from QNAP on why not. I have a number of Annke cameras, and it's a pain to try to integrate QVR and make them work correctly.

Not QNAP'S fault that these cameras do not support ONVIF

For individual support, a ticket needs to be opened..see:
https://www.qnap.com/en/compatibility-qvr-pro

There seems to be a guide here how to enable ONVIF

Of course they support ONVIF. Just needs to be enabled for security purposes on each camera. And they work perfectly in QVRPro through adding them as ONVIF Profile S or T. Getting multiple streams, setting stream parameters, getting on-camera motion events...all works fine. Integration is a matter of typing IP address and username/password.

Personally, using multiple C500 and C800 cameras for years...
