Thunderbolt networking and Mac Cilicone Computers

Is anyone using the Thunderbolt networking connection on there NAS? I'm on the latest firmware. If I'm connected via 10gbe I get very fast writes. Basically 1000 MB/s but with Thunderbolt I get 350 MB/s writes. Is there anyway to fix this? Thank you for the help.
