Recording stopped, QVR Pro

Hi

Got a Foscam hooked up to my Qnap with QVR Pro. I made a recording partition and the recording is working fine, I set QVR to overwrite older recordings when the storage is 80% full…all good, except its not!! Today I found my camera “not recording” I found out that its because the storage is full, WTF….shouldnt the setting with the 80% ensure that the recording keep on going and delete old recordings to get room for new? Am I missing somthing here

Is the a way to format the “thick volume” manually
