Last week I upgraded to QTS 5.1.3.2578 and now there is a QNAP Cloud utility in the upper right corner.
I don't want QNAPCloud. Not now, not in the future. So I want to remove it.
In the App centre there is no 'remove' or 'uninstall' option. There is only 'Open'.
How can I remove the QNAPCloud util?

Re: How2 remove QNAP Cloud utility
The icon seems to be built-into the QTS UI and can't be removed. Even if you uninstall the associated system QPKG, the icon will remain.
So you'll need to resort to hiding it with whichever web-browser content-blocker you use.

Liquid Paper (a.k.a. White Out - but that isn't politically correct any more) was more fun to use to cover things up. But, harder to get off the monitor.
