iscsi not detected

Post by Lea7277 »

Hello

I installed again my windows and my iscsi drive is not detected by disk manager.

After installation, i have the same IP adress, same user login, same password.
On iscsi windows setup, it is quote "connected"
On iscsi qnap windows, "connected" too
I can access to my network qnap drives

BUT not to the iscsi ones. In "drive manager" they are not detected.

Any idée ? please :-)

(sorry for my very bad english)

What is the QNAP NAS model the ISCSI block storage is located on ?

Windows normally would not auto-mount ISCSI storage by itself, you would have to actively mount it

You must have, as these things don't happen magically

Check in your windows for ISCSI intiator settings and reconnect to your NAS target. Sounds like you also have no backups you your block storage..NAS are not magic and NAS will fail, so never forget your backups.
