New Product Shown - 12 bay flash SATA

Post by casw1000 »

Hi All.

I noticed that a new 12 bay sata flash desktop product was shown at the Computex 2024 show. I really liked the TS-h1290FX, NVME all flash device, but its quite a bit out of my hobbist league. This new product, looks the same, but is based on the SATA backplane / interface.

I couldn't see the model number on the display card, but wondered if there was any additional info here? I really hope its within my reach, I had a TVS-h1288X and that was a great machine, but I had to let it go, with unexpected bills landed on my lap. So I am hoping I can get another higher end model like this.

Look forward to hearing more about this model.
Cheers, Colin.

Best to open a ticket with QNAP, even presales has not been visited here by QNAP in a while (and they are the only ones that would know)

Thank you Pimposh. I then did a search and found a bit more.

TS-h1277AFX: Tower 12-bay SATA SSD all-flash NAS powered by an AMD Ryzen™ 7000 series processor, featuring up to 192GB DDR5 memory, 2x 2.5GbE and 2x 10GBASE-T ports, 3x PCIe Gen 4 slots, 1x HDMI port, and more.

This will be on my purchase list, if the price is not too extreme.
Cheers, Col.

how much is it ? I can't find a price anywhere, except for the QNAP press release, that does not discuss the price.
