How to EDIT shared folder settings from WORM Compliance to Enterprise

Post by rkidev »

Hi, I want to delete the Shared Storage that we created for testing purpose which is WORM Compliance and because of this setting I am not able to delete that Storage.
Is there any way to change the settings so that I can delete that Storage?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

If you could..would defeat the purpose....no?

Best to open a ticket with QNAP

Thanks for the reply, but I think that's weird functionality I have ever seen. Let's say initially we created Shared Storage with WORM Compliance. After some time, our requirement is over, and we want to change it to Enterprise so that we can delete some files. So, you are saying for this we need to raise ticket to QNAP? :)

Just looking at this:

https://www.qnap.com/en/how-to/faq/arti ... iance-worm
Compliance: Users cannot delete the shared folder. An administrator must remove the storage pool to delete the WORM shared folder.
Only way to delete from a Compliance storage is to nuke the pool.
