QVR Pro OS (QVP)?

I have a QVP-41C, which runs QVR Pro OS (QVP).

It is running 2.5.1.0936 build 20240724

Where can I find documentation on this OS? It is not covered in the User Guide.

I have got a couple of cameras working with it, so that much is good.

I also expect to be able to use it as a NAS; my immediate issue is setting up and accessing a shared drive.

From a Windows PC via SMB I can see a folder named "public", but I can't open it (ie even with QNAP admin credentials).

In QTS there is Control Panel > Privilege > Shared folders; but in QVP that is missing.

Storage & Snapshots > Storage > Storage/Snapshots, does show the shared folders, but there is no "Manage" button.

That's the User Guide for the hardware, but it doesn't say anything about the OS or software.

Good find, thanks. That's v1.4 though, can't find v2.5.1.

So there is "File Station", will play with that.

No mention of shell access that I could see, will try to figure this out as well.
