Cloud Drive Sync error with OneDrive

Hello
I'm new to this and hope I can get some help.
I have used Cloud Drive Sync against Onedrive for about 3 years to sync the family's various Onedrive accounts and it has worked flawlessly until my partner changed the password.
Now when I try to create an account I get this error saying *The account could not be authenticated. Check the network settings of the computer and the network and try again*.
Creating a dropbox or Googledrive account works.
I haven't made any changes anywhere.
I've updated everything I can, reinstalled Cloud Drive Sync (2.0.358).

4.2.6 Build 20240618
QTS 4.2
I really appreciate any help I can get.

Probably best to open a ticket, bugs might not be fixed anymore on these old units (EOL)

maybe you need to completely remove the previous OneDrive account from the Cloud Drive Sync list and add it again? also ,old authorizations might still be cached so it’s good to restart the NAS afterwards

I did uninstall the Cloud Drive Sync, but it seems that the old data is remaning when reinstall Cloud Drive Sync again?.
yes i now its an old qnap, but its purpose is to download all photos from the familys phones etc over the year its has become alot of data (4TB)

Hi
i belive its an internal error that came after an system update.
I installed Hybrid Backup Sync and when i create an sync with the cloud. Google drive/dropbox takes me to the loginpage (in the browser)
But when i tries with Onedrive
connector.myqnapcloud.com/oauth2/connect?app_id=6Cld7... (and so on) flashes in browser before http://192.168.0.33:8080/cgi-bin/qpkg/C ... result=Vpa........ and stays there with an blanc screen?
Do i have old data/cookies in the system? and how do i uninstall/clear it?

Hi,
I have also experienced the same problem, and I assume that the cause of the anomaly is due to the fact that from 16 September 2024 Microsoft will only accept applications with strong authentication.
I'm not sure, but if there are no updates on the Cloud Drive Sync application from QNAP, the problem cannot be solved.

Yes, I entered the authentication credential and then Cloud Drive Sync displays the error message 'The account could not be authenticated. Please check your computer and network settings and try again."
Creating a dropbox account works.

Any one that uses Cloud drive sync or Hybrid Backup Sync that it works for?

I don't know.
Do you know any alternative apps for compatible with QNAP to synchronise files and folders on OneDrive?

The only one i know is Cloud drive sync and Hybrid Backup Sync and none of them works for me
