Hello all
I have a NAS with 4 drives. 1 SSD that contains the system volume and 3 other normal disks.
The main use of the NAS is to backup the files on my two PCs: 1 Linux and 1 Windows. The
backups are NOT stored on the SSD.
The backup operation is run at precise times and doesn't take very much time (max 30 minutes). It
doesn't have any sense to spin the disks all the time. They make noise and they consume energy.
I would like to know if it is possible to unmount the volumes used for backup (with the hope of having
them stopped after a certain amount of inactivity time).
Other solutions to stop the disks are welcomed.
Regards
Cristian
