I followed the guidelines posted by OP and looks like it worked out
This worked for me also. Thanks.

Hi to all and thanks for this amazing guide, for some Amazon error, they send me the 8x2 modules when I ordered the 4x2

Whatever.... The model of the rams are CT8G4DFS824A.8FB1

Can you please tell me if these can go with a TS - 435D

Edit: the seller send me 2 modules with the sticker of a UDIMM ram and not SODIMM (see the image) so I am ordering another one

Thank you very much for your guide. I recently bought the Crucial CT2K8G4SFS824A (2x8 GB 2400 MHz) and it worked like a charm!! :D
I'm an owner of a TS-453D 4 GB (now, 16 GB!)

Small report for someone else upgrading: TS-253E, Kingston FURY Impact 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) 3200 MHz DDR4 CL20 (2 modules, KF432S20IBK2/32) works like a charm.

I upgraded to 2x8Gb DDR3L ram on my TS253B, it recognized and booted and working for few hours without a problem. I hope it stays same.

Upgraded my 253D-4G to 32GB with two KVR26S19D8/16 16GB sodimms (2666MT/s, CL19) and it works. Had to buy two individual ram modules since I could not find a kit. Took a while for the first startup beep. This was my second time purchasing memory as the first *SRFA* sku Crucial did not work, wish I found this thread first. Needed to be 2Rx8 chips for 16GB modules.

Hi everyone,

I've been looking into the TS-x53D series (TS-253D, TS-453D, TS-653D) to find compatible RAM. After extensive research and sifting through various forum posts, I discovered a lot of conflicting information. To clarify, I examined Intel's raw specs and decoded Crucial/Kingston part codes. Here are some key findings:

Use DDR4 SODIMMs 260-pin laptop-sized modules.

Ensure the memory is unbuffered Non-ECC SODIMM.

The max memory supported is 32GB (2x16GB) despite Gemini Lake’s spec of 8GB.

For 16GB modules, only 2Rx8 is supported.

Use 2400 MHz memory, higher speeds are unnecessary.

Check out the full guide for more detailed recommendations on Crucial and Kingston models, including ones to avoid and ones to consider. Hope this helps everyone looking to upgrade their QNAP NAS memory!"

Hi,

this is my second post here!

I own a QNAP TS-451+ with RAM 2gb
firmware version: QTS 5.2.4.3105
CPU: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU J1900, fino a 1900 MHz (4 core, 4 thread)

I wish to improve RAM....

As I read here I must buy:
- DDR4 SODIMMs 260-pin
- Unbuffered Non-ECC SODIMM
- max 32Gb
- 2400 Mhz memory

Actually I'm oriented in Kingston memory because "i knew" that Kingston is the best... but I know nothing (or a bot more) so I'm here to follow suggestion from who knows more than me...

Waht do you suggest and what shop do you suggesti (I'm living in Italy)
