QVR Pro V2.6.1.1029 won't install error 5003

I was having problems with QVR Pro V2.6.1.1029 after removing some cameras and replacing a couple so I ended up re-initializing the NAS (TS-453D 4GB, 4 drives) to see if it would resolve the configuration issues it was experiencing. After doing this I have not been able to install QVR Pro V2.6.1.1029. It initially installs Container Station without error. Then it installs QVR Pro. The first time you run QVR Pro it starts the 'QVR Pro Initial Setup', Step 1 verified minimum system requirements, Step 2 verifies the date and time settings, Step 3 starts the installation, after 4% it returns an error.
Error code :5003 Unable to extract installation files

I have submitted a support ticket but so far no success in resolving this.

Anyone have any suggestions?

If I get a successful closure on this from support I will update the post.

The only solution that worked and continues to work as of 4/8/2025 was to downgrade the FW to version 5.2.1.2930. After installing the QVR Pro current version connecting 4 camera, consistent operation is seen until the FW is upgraded. Then QVR Pro Server would start hanging the server at least once per day requiring a restart.

The interesting thing to note is the other NAS I have is a TS-253A with 2 drives that is running FW V5.2.3.3006 has not had any problems operating with 8 cameras.

They were not able to solve it. They closed the ticket because there was nothing further they could do outside of what I already did. There have been no QTS FW or QVR Pro updates that resolve this to date. They did fix some bugs in the the most recent release of the QVR Pro client that was locking up live display on cameras that were dropping frames occasionally.
