QXG-10G2T-X710 10G network adapter on TS-983XU-RP

Post by dhearn@scitax.com »

Hello
I have a  QNAP QXG-10G2T-X710 10G network adapter  installed in my TS-983XU-RP
The QXG-10G2T-X710  has two RJ45 sockets homwever I want to use only one ethernet cable, but if I do the TS-983XU-RP posts a system warning that a cable is disconnected.
Is there any way to tell / configure the system that the use of only one cable is intentional and to stop the cable warning?
Thanks

Hmm strange I have a QXG-10G2T-X710 in my 1288X but it never complains if the second port is not connected (I have only one port connected to a TVS-951X)
