Cannot Install Odoo in Container Station

Postby milkeysufc » Tue Jul 10, 2018 7:03 pm

Trying to install Odoo docker app but get error:

Background task error for application odoo: Creating odoo_db_1 ...

Creating odoo_db_1 ... done
Creating odoo_web_1 ...

Creating odoo_web_1 ... error
ERROR: for odoo_web_1 Cannot start service web: Cannot link to a non running container: /odoo_db_1 AS /odoo_web_1/db ERROR: for web Cannot start service web: Cannot link to a non running container: /odoo_db_1 AS /odoo_web_1/db Encountered errors while bringing up the project.

2 Docker Containers are created:
Odoo_db_1 & Odoo_web_1

Odoo_db_1 console shown error:
chown: changing ownership of '/var/run/postgresql': Operation not permitted

I'm a total Docker/Container Station newbie.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Sorry, I don't have a solution for your reported problem.

But Odoo is available as a QPKG in the Qnapclub Store. You'll also need QPostgreSQL.

Debian 'Stretch' on my production NAS (TS-569 Pro), with the backup NAS (TS-559 Pro+) to eventually follow. When that happens, I'll no longer use or support any QNAP firmware. Debian powerup/poweroff times are < 1 minute.
