Migrating a few virtual machines from a HyperV Host over to Virtualisation Sation. I figured the easiest way to do this rather than messing around with conversions is just to build a virtual machine and then do a restore from Veeam Endpoint backup that already runs on my systems anyway. I can get a restore to the built Virtual machine to work fine from the Veeam recovery ISO but then the VM will not boot Windows that has been copied to the disk, no blue screen it just doesn't find the hard disk bootable?
Am I missing something here
, has anyone done this sort of restore and are there any tricks?thanks
