Did you check the compatibility list?
Read the Online Manuals and use the forum search feature before posting.

It is a recommended to use RAID and have external backups. RAID will protect you from disk failure, keep your system running, and data accessible while the disk is replaced and the RAID rebuilt. Backups will allow you to recover data that is lost or corrupted, or from system failure. One does not replace the other.

Submit bugs and feature requests to QNAP via their Helpdesk app.

also be aware that your old nas does not support volumes with more than 16TB

pretty sure the drive would work...

only sensible option for 4 of those, would be single drives or two raid1 single volumes

dont forget regular external backups

Hello friend,

I just bought 10TB Red and it fits physically, i notice it size is quite the same as 6TB RED but a bit lighter, even though only 2 screw holes fit , but 2 is enough to hold it tight and important that it works fine in my 419P+, I set up as single drive hence no problem with 16TB max limit.

tks again for your great help.
