Camera test works, but app will not connect

Post by hsvalwolf » Thu Mar 19, 2020 12:09 am

I can get my camera to connect in the settings screen and show success, but when Iattempt to open the QRV Pro app and view the camera, it will never connect. Can anyone advise about what could be causing the disconnect there?

Thanks!

I had a similar problem with a Dahua camera - fine in settings & test, but never connected. Somebody helped me with the following:

"Does that camera / firmware have the setting in its web GUI to enable ONVIF, and is it defaulted to disabled?
That's an increasingly common setting in Dahua and Hikvision new firmware versions.

Also -
Does the camera show and respond OK using ONVIIF Device Manager (sourceforge.net) with the logonID/password that you have set?"

I looked into the ONVIF settings in my camera and the ONVIF admin password was wrong - even though when setting it up in SS the test "passed". So I changed this to what I had in SS, the camera passed the test and is now connected!

Might help you...

You have to set the number of frames per second to 18 or 20 in qvr pro. It's works for me.
