Use the NAS as a cronjob for php files

Post by iz1kbp » Wed Jul 08, 2020 5:18 pm

Goodmorning everyone. I have this problem: I have a webserver on which php3 is installed (not updatable). Through cronjob, I make him run some php scripts that, through ftp, I uploaded to his ETC / HTTPD / HTTP folder. Now I have to update the scripts and I need a newer PHP version. In my home local area network I have a QNAP TS221 NAS. Can you tell me if I can do the same thing using the NAS? : upload some php scripts in a folder reachable via FTP and start them with a cronjob?
Can I create the cron job and if so, where?
thanks and good continuation
