By default Qnap seems to reserve IP range for LXC containers from 10.0.3.240 to 10.0.3.254. Lets say I already have 14 containers running and create a new LXC container the Qnap will not assign an ip to the new container even though the lower ranges of ip is readily available. Worst yet, if i try to add and reserve an IP address for this new LXC container, it won't let me add an ip address below 10.0.3.239.
I have a couple of questions in regards to the DHCP table:
- Is there a way to add and update the DHCP table manually instead of using the Qnap GUI?
- Also, is this ip range limit for LXC a bug or designed to be inconvenient?
- Is there a way to clear out the DHCP table? There are times where a deleted container will remain in the DHCP table, and this becomes an issue once I exceed the 14 ip range limit noted in #1
