Windows client and network configuration

I have managed to get Xopero configured and backed up my windows client. However, that is only when the client is connected to the same network as my qnap xopero device. I have other clients (servers and PC) that are outside of our network and I can't find any documentation for configuring the client to report to a qnap nas inside network A while the client resides in Network b. I also need to know if a qnap xopero device resides in network A, what ports need to be forwarded so that the client in network B can connect.
