On my TS-431P2 I have MusicStation (v5.4.0) installed. I can bring it up in QTS but it requires a login. No matter what login I try it goes back to the login screen for MusicStation. I can browse separately to MusicStation and the same thing, keeps insisting on a login that never works. I have tried my account and the admin account (the only two accounts on the TS-431P2) to no avail. Yes, I verified passwords and such. I went into Multimedia Console v2.5.2 under the App Suite and set custom permissions for the enabled MusicStation to all users and all groups. Still not logging in and this issue has been happening for YEARS. At least two years if I remember right. What is wrong with this app?
The odd thing is MusicStation (v5.3.20) on my TS-231 works just fine. It doesn't even ask for the stupid login! But the TS-231 is old and I am thinking of another, newer Qnap. Well I am re-thinking getting another Qnap because of an app that works in an older model but refuses to work in a newer model.
If you missed it in the signature, both Qnaps are up-to-date. A new MusicStation version just came out for the TS-431P2 and I thought they'd have fixed this by now, this is what prompted (again) this post.
UPDATE:
Forgot to mention I always log into my NAS' in my account, a separate administrator privileged account. Decided to try to log into the TS-431P2 under the admin account which I don't ever remember doing before (maybe the first time only). MusicStation comes up under the admin account, even without a login. So it's a permission issue somewhere and I can't find it. Please help.

Re: Musicstation - Cannot login
Many options in QNAP world don't work unless you use the true admin account despite the fact they tell you to disable it.
Even their screenshots show using the admin user.

If you need this fixed, I'd suggest contacting QNAP support and enter a ticket.
