I am currently in a remote QNAP session with my TS-251+ NAS.
The thing as, as of today (Sunday), the issue takes longer than usual, and QNAP support emailed me on Friday night andwant to get extra help from their Taiwan colleges which means it will be after the weekend,
I can understand they left the connection up for "convenience sake" so they do not ave to communicate with me again for new session, on Monday when they get in.
BUT seeing they do not work over the weekend, is it safe to changeover my 4TB hard drives with 8TB ? Hopefully, i'm thinking when i log back in with my QNAP ID it will pick up where it left off (aka everything is saved with ID, not on local drive.)
On the other hand, i'm wondering if there is anything saved on the local drive to create the session itself or leave it open for extra
Anyone know is it ok. or not?

Re: Remote session in progress , QNAP remote
Probably a lot depends on what they are monitoring or fixing for you. Personally, I wouldn't risk changing anything in the middle of debugging unless it is absolutely critical for you to do so. Everything important is written to disk so the odds or you removing something important are high.
